In an unprecedented display of industry alignment, Zimbabwe’s entire pharmaceutical value chain has come together to launch the inaugural Zimbabwe Pharmaceutical Industry Conference (ZPIC 2026). Scheduled to take place from 3 – 5 September 2026 at the iconic Rainbow Towers in Harare, the landmark convention is set to chart a self-reliant path for national healthcare infrastructure.
The conference is being hosted jointly by the nation’s four powerhouse professional associations:

The Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PMA)

The Community Pharmacists Association (CPA)

The Pharmaceutical Society of Zimbabwe (PSZ)
Running under the timely theme, “Strengthening Zimbabwe’s Pharma Ecosystem for Resilience and Sustainability,” ZPIC 2026 addresses critical structural hurdles within the local health sector. By breaking down the traditional silos between manufacturing, distribution, policy, and point-of-care practice, the joint committee aims to cultivate an environment that can actively mitigate global supply chain shocks while guaranteeing standard medicine accessibility for the public. Registration and exhibition portal spaces are expected to open next month for regional and local stakeholders.
